These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AQARY mobile application (the "App"), operated from Lebanon. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App. You may only post listings for properties you own or are legally authorized to list (e.g., a tenant subletting with the owner's written consent).
To create a listing, you must complete our verification flow: upload a government-issued ID and proof of property ownership. Verification is reviewed manually within 24 hours under normal conditions. Submitting forged or misleading documents is grounds for an immediate, permanent ban and the flagging of your phone number to prevent re-registration. We reserve the right to revoke verification at any time if fraud or violation of these Terms is detected.
Your first listing is free. Each additional listing costs USD $20, paid via Whish Money or OMT to the number displayed in the App at the time of listing. You must include the displayed reference code with your transfer and upload a screenshot of the confirmation. Payments are reviewed manually and approved within 24 hours under normal conditions.
All payments are final. Refunds are at the sole discretion of AQARY management on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact support via WhatsApp at +961 3 644194.
You must not: post listings for properties you do not own or are not authorized to list; upload misleading photos, prices, or descriptions; harass or threaten other users; post adult, violent, illegal, or hateful content; impersonate another person; or attempt to circumvent security measures of the App.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, descriptions, messages). By uploading, you grant AQARY a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store that content as needed to operate the App. You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.
AQARY reserves the right to remove any listing, message, photo, or account at its sole discretion to enforce these Terms or comply with law. Account suspension or removal does not entitle you to a refund.
You may request account deletion via Settings → Delete Account. After deletion, you have 30 days to restore the account by signing back in. After 30 days, all data is permanently purged. Inactive accounts (12 months without app open) are automatically deleted after a 30-day warning period.
AQARY is a marketplace, not a party to any transaction. We do not verify the legal validity of any sale, rental, or contractual agreement reached between users. You are responsible for performing your own due diligence before completing any transaction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AQARY is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any transaction conducted through it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Beirut.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will require you to re-agree before continuing to use the App. Continued use after a non-material change constitutes acceptance.
