Community Guidelines

AQARY exists to connect verified property owners with serious buyers and renters across Lebanon. These guidelines exist to keep the community trustworthy. By using AQARY, you agree to follow them.

Be Honest

List only properties you own or are legally authorized to list.
Use real photos of the actual property, no stock photos, no photos of other properties, no edited or misleading images.
Describe the property accurately. Don't exaggerate size, location, or condition.
Set a realistic price. Listings with deliberately misleading prices will be removed.

Be Respectful

Treat every user, buyer or seller, with respect.
No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination.
Reply promptly to inquiries; if a property is no longer available, mark it as sold or rented.

Be Safe

Never share government-issued ID, banking details, or passwords through chat.
Meet in safe, public places for first viewings.
Don't transfer money without seeing the property and verifying ownership documents.
Report suspicious users immediately via the in-app report flow.

Don't Try to Game the System

Don't create multiple accounts to bypass listing limits or appear more active.
Don't post the same listing multiple times.
Don't try to circumvent verification by submitting forged documents. This results in a permanent ban and prevents future re-registration on AQARY.

Reporting Violations

Every listing, profile, and message has a "Report" option. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours under normal conditions. If you believe a user is violating these guidelines, report them. We take every report seriously.

Consequences

Depending on the severity, violations may result in: a warning; removal of the offending content; revocation of verification; temporary account suspension; or permanent ban with phone-number flagging to prevent re-registration. Decisions are at the sole discretion of AQARY moderators and admin.
